Kobe Bryant is bringing the Mamba Mentality to a multi-sport training facility for young athletes.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend announced earlier this week that he's partnering with Sports Academy to rebrand and open as the MAMBA Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

"Sports Academy has perfected the art and science of athletic training, from elite players to young kids getting started. MAMBA Sports Academy is a natural expansion of my commitment to educating and empowering the next generation of kids through sports," Bryant said.

Sports Academy originally opened in 2016. The 100,000-square-foot facility includes five basketball courts, seven volleyball courts, a turf field, batting cages, pitching mounds, a Gracie Barra jiu-jitsu school, and more.

The rebranding is expected to be completed by January 2019.
