Those expecting the Philadelphia 76ers to trade 2017 No. 1 pick Markelle Fultz at a bargain-bin price due to his ongoing injury concerns shouldn't hold their breath.

The Sixers have already rejected several trade offers for Fultz, league sources told the Washington Post's Candace Buckner.

The 20-year-old guard appeared in 19 games (15 starts) this season, averaging 8.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per contest before his agent, Raymond Brothers, announced his client would be held out of games and practices indefinitely until he visited a shoulder specialist.

Fultz was ultimately diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome, a nerve disorder that impacts the area between the neck and shoulder.

The condition has been cited as the main culprit behind a shooting touch that's cratered since Fultz entered the league. After shooting 41.3 percent on five 3-point attempts per game at Washington, he's taken just 15 3-pointers in 33 NBA appearances, connecting on four looks from beyond the arc.

Fultz has continued to see a shoulder specialist in Los Angeles with the Sixers' blessing.

The Phoenix Suns were reported to be one of the teams interested in Fultz, though Sixers general manager Elton Brand said that trade rumors surrounding the young man were "just noise."
