Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton is mad as heck and he's not going to take it anymore.

"I wasn't going to say anything," Walton told reporters after the Lakers' overtime defeat versus the visiting San Antonio Spurs on Monday night. "I was going to save my money, but I just can't anymore."

The second-year bench boss then launched into a biting critique of what he perceives to be uneven officiating to date - and a staunch defense of his own players:

"Watch how Josh Hart plays this game. He played 40 minutes tonight. All he does is attack the rim. Zero free throws tonight. Zero."

In total, Walton's squad shot 26 free throws while the Spurs got to the charity stripe 38 times. In the decisive overtime frame, the Spurs had an eight-to-four free-throw advantage.

"I don't want to lose money," Lakers center JaVale McGee said when asked about the officiating, according to The Orange County Register's Kyle Goon. "Whatever he said, I cosign it. Does that mean I lose money? Hope not."
