Zach LaVine's love of "Space Jam" runs deep.

The Chicago Bulls guard credits the 1996 Warner Bros. film for sparking his interest in basketball as a child, even using it as inspiration during the 2015 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.

He's also seen it more times than most people.

"(LaVine) estimated he has seen it dozens of times, though (his dad) Paul thought it was closer to 200," according to Malika Andrews of the Chicago Tribune. "When LaVine was a child and the closing credits would roll, he would ask his father to rewind the tape and start it from the beginning."

The 23-year-old hosted a screening of "Space Jam" in Chicago on Thursday night, which was attended by around 200 fans, according to Andrews.

"Who doesn't like 'Space Jam' and Michael Jordan?" LaVine said after the movie. "The season is about to start, so I'm just trying to keep it light."
