Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, and John Wall have joined forces to raise money for Hurricane Florence relief efforts throughout the Carolinas.

The trio, who all grew up in North Carolina, launched an online fundraiser called "Assist for Hurricane Florence" through the Edward Charles Foundation. As of Friday afternoon, they've raised $53,685 toward the $500,000 goal.

Officials have attributed at least 42 deaths to Hurricane Florence, including 31 in North Carolina, according to CBS News.

Charlotte Hornets chairman Michael Jordan announced earlier this week that he would be donating $1 million each to the American Red Cross and the Foundation For The Carolinas’ Hurricane Florence Response Fund to help with relief efforts.
