Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue is ready to give Rodney Hood an opportunity on Wednesday in Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors after falling 2-0 in the series, according to Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Hood hasn't received an opportunity to play meaningful minutes since the first round against the Indiana Pacers. He's averaging 4.4 points in 13.8 minutes during Cleveland's playoff run.

In the second-round series-clinching blowout against the Toronto Raptors, Lue offered Hood a chance to enter the game with the Cavaliers well ahead. Hood refused to play, later apologizing for his decision.

With the series now shifting to Ohio, Lue appears to be looking to inject something fresh into the lineup.

Through two games, only three players are averaging double figures for the Cavaliers. J.R. Smith is receiving the bulk of the minutes next to LeBron James but is averaging just 7.5 points in 35.1 minutes, while Kyle Korver and Jordan Clarkson have received the remaining minutes at the wing, but are shooting 16.7 and 23.1 percent, respectively.
