Detroit Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy was fined $15,000 for his postgame rant regarding the officiating crew in Saturday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers, courtesy of NBC Sports Northwest's Jason Quick.

Van Gundy said his team was "absolutely screwed" by an "embarrassing" job by the officials after the 100-87 loss.

Van Gundy wasn't the only coach to receive a fine Sunday for critical comments made toward referees. New Orleans Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry also received a $15,000 penalty for ripping the officiating crew in Saturday's game against the Houston Rockets.
