Kevin Durant will miss at least two weeks of action due to an incomplete rib cartilage fracture, the Golden State Warriors announced Friday.

It's another blow to the defending champion Warriors, who are already missing Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson for an extended period. Durant had initially been ruled out Friday against the Sacramento Kings, but coach Steve Kerr later told reporters he was undergoing an MRI on his ribs.

Durant said Friday that he injured the ribs Sunday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. "Hopefully it gets better in the next week or so," he said, according to The Athletic's Anthony Slater.

With Curry out until at least next week and Thompson expected to be on the shelf for two weeks, the Warriors suddenly find themselves without their top three scorers, and in tough to finish first in the Western Conference for a fourth straight year. They're currently two games behind the Houston Rockets.
