The Utah Jazz are bringing a familiar family name to the roster.

Utah is reportedly signing David Stockton, the son of Jazz legend John Stockton, to a 10-day contract, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Stockton has played the current season with the Sacramento Kings' G League affiliate, the Reno Bighorns, but has not appeared at the NBA level since 2014-15 when he played three games with Sacramento. The 26-year-old point guard is currently averaging 16.3 points and 5.2 assists with Reno.

One of the most decorated floor generals in the history of the game, John Stockton spent his entire 19-year career with the Jazz, playing in 1,504 games and averaging 13.1 points and 10.5 assists. The 55-year-old still holds the league's all-time assists mark with 15,806 career dimes, 3,715 more than Jason Kidd in second place.
