Billboards trying to recruit LeBron James have popped up in Philadelphia and Los Angeles in recent weeks, and now a group of Portland Trail Blazers fans are hoping to raise enough money for one of their own.

The group, known as TRILLBLAZIN, has started a GoFundMe campaign with the goal of raising $2,000 to design and post a billboard in time for the NBA playoffs or the start of free agency.

"This summer, LeBron James enters free agency and we think he'd make a great addition to the team," the GoFundMe page reads. "You might be saying, 'but don't the Blazers already have the amazing CJ McColloum (sic) and the Bosnian Beast?' Yes, they do, but you can't deny LeBron would be an irreplaceable asset as Dame's 3rd option."

Playing alongside Damian Lillard may be Portland's biggest selling point from LeBron's point of view, judging by the latter's complimentary comments about the point guard this week.

As of Friday afternoon, more than $500 has been donated to the cause.
