LeBron says he's not paying attention to Los Angeles rumors
LeBron James knows there are some who continue to link his future free-agency decisions with a possible relocation to Los Angeles. The Cavaliers superstar just chooses to tune it all out.
"I see all the stupid noise that happens," James said of the persistent rumor mill after Thursday's 121-112 victory over the Lakers. "I can't buy a place in L.A., I can't live in L.A. It's funny noise, but I don't get involved in it because when I post things, I don't look at comments. I'm so far removed from the white noise that it doesn't matter."

James has a player option worth approximately $35.6 million for the 2018-19 campaign, but with no signs of deterioration in his athletic abilities at age 32, he is expected by many to decline that option and sign a new contract this summer. Understandably, whether that deal will be with the Cavaliers or a new team altogether has been a topic of discussion for fans and analysts alike.
Coming into the matchup against Lonzo Ball and the visiting Lakers, James had averaged 28.2 points, nine assists, 8.2 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game. The man known as the King finished with a 25-point, 12-assist, 12-rebound triple-double Thursday, tying Celtics legend Larry Bird for No. 6 on the all-time triple-double leaderboard.
