A jersey signed by Hall of Famer Michael Jordan for Kelsey Schiel - a girl who was seriously ill and battling an undisclosed rare disease in the 1990s - was allegedly stolen from her grandfather's home in Wisconsin, according to the Star Tribune's Paul Walsh.

The No. 45 Chicago Bulls jersey was signed by the NBA legend in 1995 for Schiel in a meeting organized by the Starlight Children's Foundation at Jordan's Chicago restaurant.

Schiel's mother, Suzanne Valleau-Schiel, said their grandfather's home was burned in a fire on Oct. 11, but when a family member returned to the house on Nov. 2 they discovered two males who admitted they were looting the property. The two suspects then allegedly drove off with a garbage can full of items, with the jersey presumably in tow.

One of the two suspects has already been arrested, Walsh reports, though the jersey has yet to be recovered.
