Wade, Reggie Miller tweet support for broadcaster Jemele Hill

Embattled ESPN broadcaster Jemele Hill may not have the backing of her employer after controversial political commentary - most pointedly, labelling President Donald Trump a white supremacist - but at least two of the most powerful names in basketball are in her corner.

First, fellow broadcaster and Hall of Fame Pacers legend Reggie Miller tweeted his support for Hill:

Then, future Hall of Famer (and current Bulls buyout candidate) Dwyane Wade echoed Miller's sentiment:

Hill, who co-hosts "Sportscenter at 6" with Michael Smith, has never been one to just stick to sports, using her platform on the ESPN's flagship program to draw attention to a diverse range of social and political issues.

Recently, the NBA and NBPA voiced their encouragement of players' pursuits of social consciousness.
