The incoming rookie class is enamored with two triple-double machines LeBron James and Russell Westbrook.

The annual rookie survey crowned James the most adored player with 31.5 percent of the vote, while Westbrook came second at 19.4 percent, as compiled by John Schuhmann of NBA.com.

The ascendance of James and Westbrook came at the expense of Kevin Durant, who took home favorite player honors for three straight rookie classes. However, after moving to the Golden State Warriors, Durant dropped to 5.6 percent, which left him tied with Draymond Green.

Another curious note: Stephen Curry was entirely absent from the vote. Not a single rookie picked the two-time MVP and two-time champion as their favorite player.

Others to receive votes include: Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving, Carmelo Anthony, Jamal Crawford, Pau Gasol, Paul George, Blake Griffin, and Dwight Howard.
