The Indiana Pacers have signed veteran swingman Damien Wilkins, sources told Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders.

Wilkins signed a non-guaranteed one-year deal at the veteran's minimum, which is essentially an invitation to training camp, reports Nate Taylor of the Indianapolis Star.

The 37-year-old Wilkins last played in the NBA in 2013 as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers. That was the fifth franchise for the career journeyman who's averaged 6.3 points and 2.4 rebounds across his nine seasons.

Determined to keep his NBA dream alive, Wilkins bided time in the D-League in recent years. He averaged 14.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.8 assists last season with the Greensboro Swarm, an affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets.
