Paul Pierce doesn't seem to think as highly of LeBron James as some other people do.

Just two days after giving Tracy McGrady a hard time for choosing James over Magic Johnson in his all-time starting five, Pierce was at it again.

The recently retired Boston Celtics great took to Twitter on Friday to admonish FS1's Nick Wright, who said LeBron James is already better than Michael Jordan.

"LeBron has been the best player ever since about the midway point of Game 6 of last year's Finals, and all he's done since then is continue that," Wright said on "Undisputed."

The TV personality provided some stats before concluding: "He can do everything Jordan can do, but better. So what does he need to do to pass Michael Jordan? He already done passed Michael Jordan as far as who's the best player ever."

Both His Airness and King James are in the conversation for the greatest hooper of all time, and James' current run has brought that debate back into the forefront of the basketball world. The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar's torrid play this postseason has seen him break numerous records - most recently, Jordan's playoff scoring mark - in his search for a second straight title and fourth overall.

The Truth, who retired at the conclusion of the Los Angeles Clippers' postseason run, has gotten a good look at James' dominance. They've matched up numerous times in the regular season and playoffs over the past 14 years, and expressed mutual respect for each other.

It's clear, though, that James hasn't done enough yet in Pierce's eyes to reach GOAT status.
