In the months leading up to the UFC's inaugural event at Sphere in Las Vegas on Saturday night, Dana White and Co. were tight-lipped about what the venue would look like. But the first videos from UFC 306 are here.
UFC 306 is the first live sporting event to take place at Sphere, a state-of-the-art arena that opened last fall at a cost of $2.3 billion. Sphere boasts a 160,000-square-foot interior LED display, which can be seen below:
UFC 306, which is also branded as Noche UFC, celebrates Mexican Independence Day and features several Mexican fighters, including women's flyweight champion Alexa Grasso. A series of short films will be shown throughout the pay-per-view broadcast to tell the history of Mexican combat sports.
