Former title challenger Donald Cerrone is set to face Jim Miller in a short-notice rematch at UFC 276 on July 2 in Las Vegas, promotion officials confirmed to ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

"Cowboy" is replacing Bobby Green, who's out of the fight with Miller for undisclosed reasons.

Miller and Cerrone first squared off in 2014 in a UFC Fight Night main event, with the latter winning by knockout in a lightweight bout. The rematch will take place at welterweight.

Cerrone hasn't stepped into the Octagon since May 2021, but he was scheduled to fight Joe Lauzon twice in the past two months; the matchup was canceled at the last minute both times. Cerrone withdrew in May due to illness and then Lauzon pulled out last weekend because of an injury.

Cerrone, 39, will look to end a six-fight winless streak that consists of five losses and a no-contest that was initially a draw. The fan favorite was most recently victorious in May 2019 against Al Iaquinta.

Miller has experienced mixed results in recent years, but the 38-year-old is currently riding a two-fight winning streak after scoring stoppage wins over Nikolas Motta and Erick Gonzalez.

UFC 276 will feature two title fights: Israel Adesanya versus Jared Cannonier at middleweight and Alexander Volkanovski versus Max Holloway 3 at featherweight.
