Just hours before its scheduled start, Saturday's UFC Fight Night event is down a bout.
Terrance McKinney was pulled from his lightweight fight against Fares Ziam after one of his cornermen tested positive for COVID-19, McKinney announced on Twitter.
It's unclear whether the promotion plans to rebook the matchup between McKinney and Ziam.
McKinney was looking to build off his impressive UFC debut in June, a seven-second knockout of Matt Frevola that broke the record for fastest finish in UFC lightweight history.
Ziam, meanwhile, was hoping to improve to 3-1 as a UFC fighter. He's riding a two-fight winning streak.
UFC Fight Night will proceed with 11 bouts, including the main event between women's bantamweights Ketlen Vieira and Miesha Tate.
