The welterweight bout between Donald Cerrone and Niko Price ended in a majority draw (29-27, 28-28, 28-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Price had a strong start to the contest, battering "Cowboy" with strikes. It seemed like it was only a matter of time before he won via TKO. But Cerrone survived his opponent's early onslaught and ultimately made it to the end of the bout.

Cerrone also benefited from a point deduction against Price after two eye pokes in the first round. Had that not occurred, Price would've won the fight via split decision.

Cerrone rallied late in the bout to secure the draw. He turned up his offense in the second and third round. His best shot was his jab, as well as his head and body kicks. Cerrone also got Price to the mat late in the fight and briefly hunted for a submission.

"Cowboy" entered the co-main event riding a four-fight skid.

Price had alternated wins and losses over his past six outings.
