Nunes (c) vs. Spencer - Featherweight championship
Two-division champion Amanda Nunes will make the first defense of her featherweight title against Canadian Felicia Spencer.
Nunes (19-4) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Germaine de Randamie in their rematch at UFC 245. The 32-year-old went the distance for the first time in her last four fights and successfully defended her bantamweight title for the fifth time.
The American Top Team product won her 145-pound championship in December 2018 after knocking out former titleholder Cris Cyborg in the first round at UFC 232.
Spencer (8-1) made her UFC debut in May 2019 and has since gone 2-1 in the Octagon. The Jungle MMA product rebounded from her loss to Cyborg in February by finishing Zarah Fairn in the first round at UFC Norfolk.
The 29-year-old has finished six of her nine career opponents, with four of those victories coming by submission. Spencer looks to become the first Canadian women's champion in UFC history.
Quebec's Valerie Letourneau is the only other Canadian women's fighter to compete for a UFC title. She lost to Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 193.
Garbrandt vs. Assuncao - Bantamweight co-main event
Former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt looks to snap a three-fight skid against Raphael Assuncao.
Garbrandt (11-3) hasn't fought since he was knocked out by Pedro Munhoz in the first round at UFC 235. "No Love" has suffered three straight knockout losses after going undefeated through his first 10 fights.
The 28-year-old has switched things up for this training camp, as he's been working with Ricardo Almeida BJJ Academy coach Mark Henry instead of Team Alpha Male.
Assuncao (27-7) heads into UFC 250 coming off back-to-back losses, including a unanimous decision setback to Cory Sandhagen at UFC 241. The 37-year-old will be looking for his first win since July 2018.
Prior to those losses, the American Top Team Atlanta product had won 11 of his last 12 fights, including victories over former champion TJ Dillashaw, Aljamain Sterling, and Munhoz.
Sterling vs. Sandhagen - Bantamweight bout
Sterling will look to extend his winning streak to five in a row when he battles Sandhagen in a pivotal bantamweight matchup.
Sterling (18-3) last fought in June 2019 when he defeated Munhoz via decision at UFC 238. Saturday will mark the end of a 364-day layoff for "Funk Master," the longest of his UFC career.
Sandhagen (12-1) remains undefeated in the Octagon, including his unanimous decision victory over Assuncao. The 28-year-old is riding a seven-fight win streak, with five of those victories coming by stoppage.
The Elevation Fight Team product trains with current interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje, Drew Dober, and Neil Magny, who is also slated to compete Saturday against Anthony Rocco Martin.
