Shevchenko-Calderwood title fight booked for UFC 251

Valentina Shevchenko will defend her flyweight championship against Joanne Calderwood at UFC 251 on June 6 in Perth, Australia, the promotion announced.

"Bullet" is coming off a third-round TKO of Katlyn Chookagian at UFC 247 on Feb. 8. The victory marked her third defense of the flyweight belt.

Calderwood will challenge for the crown after defeating Andrea Lee via split decision in September. She lost a decision to Chookagian in her previous fight.

Shevchenko has looked unstoppable since moving to flyweight in February 2018, notching one submission, two unanimous decisions, and two knockouts.
