Heavyweight contenders Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris will meet in the UFC Portland main event on April 11, the promotion announced Saturday.

Overeem and Harris were initially scheduled to meet at UFC D.C. in December, but Harris withdrew from the bout after his 19-year-old stepdaughter, Aniah Blanchard, went missing in October. She was found dead a month later.

"The Demolition Man" instead met rising star Jairzinho Rozenstruik at that event. He suffered a TKO loss with four seconds left in the contest but was up on the scorecards heading into the fifth round.

Overeem, 39, is 2-2 over his past two years. He challenged Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight title in 2016 but lost via first-round TKO.

Harris is riding a four-fight unbeaten streak, which includes quick knockouts of Aleksei Oleinik and Sergey Spivak. "The Big Ticket" hasn't suffered defeat since 2017.

The following bouts are also official for UFC Portland:

  • Carla Esparza-Michelle Waterson (strawweight)
  • Vicente Luque-Randy Brown (welterweight)
  • Markus Perez-Alessio Di Chirico (middleweight)
  • Don'Tale Mayes-Rodrigo Nascimento (heavyweight)
