Conor McGregor will look to take his first step toward reclaiming UFC gold on Saturday, but the Irishman remains untouchable when it comes to earning green.

The former two-division champion will pocket $3 million for his return fight against Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone at UFC 246, according to Damon Martin and Steven Marrocco of MMA Fighting, citing figures from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Meanwhile, Cerrone will earn $200,000, with another $200,000 coming if he wins.

McGregor will probably take home far more than the disclosed figure once extras like pay-per-view points are added, which the UFC doesn't release. "The Notorious" said recently that he'll earn $80 million for his first fight in the Octagon since October 2018.

UFC 246 still won't be McGregor's biggest payday ever. He reportedly made around $100 million for a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
