Two notable women's fights are reportedly close to being finalized for December's UFC Fight Night in Washington, D.C., sources told ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

Former strawweight title challenger Claudia Gadelha will reportedly face Cynthia Calvillo, while Aspen Ladd will battle Yana Kunitskaya in a bantamweight bout. Verbal agreements are apparently in place for both fights.

Gadelha (17-4) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Canadian Randa Markos at UFC 239. It was her first win while training at Ricardo Almeida BJJ in New Jersey. The 30-year-old is 2-2 in her last four fights.

Calvillo (7-1) heads into the matchup off back-to-back victories, including a unanimous decision win over Cortney Casey at UFC on ESPN: Ngannou vs. Velasquez in February. Calvillo was slated to face Livia Renata Souza at UFC Sacramento in July before a foot injury forced her to withdraw. The 32-year-old California native boasts a 5-1 record in the Octagon.

Ladd (8-1) suffered her first professional loss in her last bout after being knocked out by Germaine de Randamie in 16 seconds at UFC Sacramento. The 24-year-old had previously gone 3-0 in the Octagon, with two of those victories coming by stoppage.

Kunitskaya (12-4) has won two straight fights since losing her UFC debut to Cris Cyborg at UFC 222 in March 2018. The Xtreme Couture product recently defeated Marion Reneau at UFC Wichita and has gone the distance in three of her last four fights.

UFC D.C. takes place at Capital One Arena on Dec. 7.
