Mayweather confirms he'll train with Woodley, grades his MMA skills

Floyd Mayweather appears serious about making the move into the Octagon.

The retired boxer confirmed to TMZ Sports that he plans to start training with UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley soon.

"We talked a couple of times, so we're going to start working out real soon," Mayweather said, adding that it's going to be "a little difficult" to adjust his game and that he may require several months of training.

"Even if it takes six-to-eight months, whatever it takes, we want to make sure everything is done correctly and everything is done the right way."

Mayweather also graded his MMA skills. For his wrestling game, he said he's "probably a seven and I think we could take it up to, like, a nine," while his kicking game is a four out of 10.
