Light heavyweight Michal Oleksiejczuk and strawweight Cynthia Calvillo, both of whom last fought in Las Vegas at UFC 219, have been shelved by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Oleksiejczuk and Calvillo were hit with one-year and nine-month bans, respectively, this week for failing in-competition drug tests related to their December fights, NSAC officials confirmed to Shaun Al-Shatti of MMA Fighting.

Oleksiejczuk tested positive for anti-estrogen agent clomiphene. He was fined 30 percent of his $12,000 fight purse ($3,600) and his unanimous decision over Khalil Rountree was overturned to a no-contest. The ban is retroactive to Dec. 30, the date of the event, although Oleksiejczuk will have to pass a screening before he can re-apply for a license. He faces additional sanctions from the USADA, the UFC's anti-doping partner.

Calvillo's penance exceeds the six-month ban the USADA recently handed her for elevated levels of marijuana metabolite THC found in her in-competition screening. The NSAC-sanctioned suspension runs concurrently with the USADA's, meaning she'll be cleared to return to action Sep. 30. The 30-year-old was also fined $6,150 - 15 percent of her $41K purse - and, like Oleksiejczuk, she'll have to pass a screening before seeking a new license.

She suffered her first professional loss in a unanimous decision to Carla Esparza at UFC 219.
