Neymar open to reunion with Messi, Suarez: 'Who knows?'
Neymar wouldn't be opposed to reviving the once-revered MSN trident.
With his contract in Saudi Arabia expiring in June, the 32-year-old Brazilian said he'd be open to reuniting with former Barcelona teammates Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at Inter Miami.
"Obviously, playing again with Messi and Suarez would be incredible," Neymar told CNN Sport. "They are my friends. We still speak to each other. It would be interesting to revive this trio.
"I am happy at Al Hilal and in Saudi Arabia, but who knows? Football is full of surprises."
Neymar played alongside Messi and Suarez for three seasons at Barcelona before leaving for Paris Saint-Germain in 2017. The trio scored 253 goals in 113 matches together.
Neymar has been plagued by injuries since joining Al-Hilal in 2023. He tore his anterior cruciate ligament shortly after signing for the Saudi team and has struggled with various smaller injuries that have limited him to seven appearances over two seasons.
He added that he'll do "everything" he can to play at the 2026 World Cup in North America.
"I know this will be my last World Cup, my last shot," Neymar said.
