The Toronto Blue Jays placed Gold Glove outfielder Daulton Varsho on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain, the club announced Sunday.

The Blue Jays are listing Varsho as week-to-week with a Grade 1 hamstring strain, according to Sportsnet's Arden Zwelling.

Varsho sustained the injury while trying to leg out a triple during Saturday's 8-7 victory over the Athletics.

The 28-year-old missed the first month of the campaign after undergoing shoulder surgery in the offseason. He has eight home runs and 20 RBIs with three defensive runs saved in center field across 24 games.

The Blue Jays also recalled utility player Davis Schneider, reinstated reliever Erik Swanson from the 60-day injured list, and optioned left-hander Easton Lucas to Triple-A Buffalo in a flurry of roster activity.

Swanson missed the start of the season after sustaining an injury in spring training. The right-hander posted a 9.00 ERA in four rehab appearances at Triple-A.

Schneider registered a .741 OPS with four home runs and 18 RBIs at Triple-A after he was optioned following a short stint with the Blue Jays to start the season.
