New York Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. will no longer be suspended for posting on X during an April 17 game.

Chisholm was originally handed a one-game ban for tweeting 'not even f------ close' shortly after getting tossed from that contest against the Tampa Bay Rays by umpire John Bacon for arguing balls and strikes.

The second baseman intended to appeal the suspension but his meeting with the league never happened.

"They were just like 'There's no suspension, guys,'" he said, according to Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News. "I think they talked to my agent."

A league source told Phillips that MLB and Chisholm reached a settlement agreement that rescinded the suspension yet kept the $5,000 fine.

MLB's Social Media Policy prohibits the use of electronics during games with no specified exceptions for ejected players. It also prohibits conduct that questions the impartiality of umpires or denigrates them.
