New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge is determined to reverse his recent postseason struggles.

"I've got to improve, definitely," Judge said, according to Dan Martin of the New York Post. "Last postseason wasn't the best. I know '22 wasn't that great, either. I don't want to think about the negatives, but it's part of it. It's the role I'm in. When you're at the top, that's what happens."

Judge hit just .184 with a .752 OPS, three home runs, nine RBIs, and 20 strikeouts in 14 postseason games during New York's World Series run last season. It was the first time the Yankees advanced to the Fall Classic since 2009, though they lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers in five games.

The 32-year-old has won two of the last three AL MVPs but hasn't been able to carry that momentum over to the bright lights of October. His career postseason OPS of .768 is significantly lower than the 1.010 OPS he's registered in 3,564 regular-season at-bats.

"When I signed here again (as a free agent), it was about winning a championship, multiple championships," Judge said. "The money and all that's great, but I want to win, and I've got to do more to make sure that happens."

Judge and the Yankees enter the 2025 season as favorites to win their third AL East title in four years.
