Report: Dodgers, Enrique Hernández agree to 1-year contract
Kiké Hernández and the Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to a one-year contract, a source told The Athletic's Fabian Ardaya.
Financial details of the agreement aren't yet known.
Hernández teased the reunion with a clip on social media captioned, "Walking through the open door."
The 33-year-old is fresh off a memorable postseason in his second stint with the Dodgers. He provided a spark for the World Series champions with 15 hits in 51 at-bats and made headlines for cursing during a live interview after the NLDS.
Hernández slashed .229/.281/.373 with 12 home runs and 42 RBIs across 126 regular-season games.
The veteran utility man owns a career .713 OPS (92 OPS+) through 11 MLB seasons split between the Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, Houston Astros, and Miami Marlins.
