The Texas Rangers and reliever Jacob Webb agreed to a one-year contract, a source told Robert Murray of FanSided.
Webb authored a 3.02 ERA with 1.18 WHIP and 58 strikeouts over 56 2/3 innings for the Baltimore Orioles last season.
The 31-year-old right-hander ranked in the 91st percentile in offspeed run value, 84th percentile in average exit velocity, and 82nd percentile in hard-hit percentage in 2024, according to Baseball Savant.
The reported move should help a Texas bullpen that finished with the sixth-lowest fWAR in the majors.
