Cleveland Indians catcher Wilson Ramos is out for the remainder of the 2021 season after suffering a torn ACL and sprained MCL, according to Mandy Bell of MLB.com.

It's the third time Ramos has torn his ACL in his career.

Ramos began the campaign with the Detroit Tigers, who designated him for assignment after he hit .200/.238/.392 with six homers over 35 games. The veteran joined the Indians in early August, hitting .226/.286/.419 with two homers in nine games.

The 12-year veteran owns a .750 OPS (102 OPS+) for his career, hitting 136 homers with 534 RBIs in 990 games.
