Blue Jays' Stripling 'completely embarrassed' for calling out Panik
Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Ross Stripling said he's "completely embarrassed" for yelling at third baseman Joe Panik after a failed defensive play during Wednesday's loss against the New York Yankees.

Stripling was visibly upset after Panik threw the ball away following a Giancarlo Stanton grounder. First baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. collided with Stanton as he attempted to catch the ball. He was down in a crouch for a moment but was ultimately OK and finished the game.
The Blue Jays were nursing a 2-1 lead at the time of the play. Toronto was able to escape the inning unscathed before Stripling served up the eventual game-winning two-run home run the following inning.
Stripling said he addressed the team and apologized to Panik twice after the incident.
"(It's) the most disrespectful thing I've ever done, maybe ever," Stripling said, according to Shi Davidi of Sportsnet. "I'm completely embarrassed about it ... I feel so bad about it. That can't happen."
