The Colorado Rockies and right-hander Ivan Nova agreed to a contract, according to Robert Murray of FanSided.

Nova, 34, became a free agent after failing to make the Philadelphia Phillies' roster in March. The 11-year veteran owns a 4.38 ERA over 240 games (227 starts) following time with the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago White Sox, and Detroit Tigers.

The Rockies' rotation currently consists of German Marquez, Antonio Senzatela, Jon Gray, Austin Gomber, and Chi Chi Gonzalez, while Kyle Freeland is on the injured list with a strained shoulder.
