Randy Arozarena just cannot be stopped in October.

The Tampa Bay Rays outfielder's torrid postseason entered the record books Thursday when he homered off Houston Astros right-hander Enoli Paredes in Game 5 of the ALCS. The blast was Arozarena's sixth of the playoffs, tying former Rays star Evan Longoria for the rookie postseason record. Longoria hit six homers during the Rays' run to the pennant in 2008.

It was also Arozarena's 20th hit of the playoffs, making him just the fourth rookie to reach that mark alongside Chipper Jones, Yuli Gurriel, and Derek Jeter. He's two hits shy of Jeter's rookie record from 1996.

Arozarena's home run cut Houston's lead in Game 5 to 3-2.
