Trevor Bauer doesn't like to be jerked around.

The Cincinnati Reds right-hander is slated to toe the rubber for Saturday's game against the Detroit Tigers. However, less than 10 minutes before first pitch, the game entered a rain delay.

The timing of the delay combined with the fact the game was moved up five hours specifically so inclement weather could be avoided didn't sit well with Bauer.

Bauer had already begun warming up in the bullpen when the delay was announced, according to Bobby Nightengale of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

The game was subsequently postponed. The teams will reconvene on Sunday to play a doubleheader consisting of two, seven-inning games.

It was slated to be Bauer's second start of the season and second against the Tigers. In his first appearance, the 29-year-old dismantled Detroit by striking out 13 over 6 1/3 innings while allowing only one run on two hits.
