Houston Astros superstar Alex Bregman participated Wednesday in a march for George Floyd and protests against police brutality and racial injustice, according to Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle.

Bregman described it as "one of the most powerful experiences" of his life.

"I think we need change," he said. "I think we need to vote. ... We need action."

Bregman has been an active participant in discussions about racism in America since Floyd's death while in police custody on May 25.

The two-time All-Star said he believes the Ku Klux Klan should be considered a terrorist organization after United States President Donald Trump tweeted that antifa will be designated as such.

Bregman finished as the MVP runner-up last year, earning 13 of 30 first-place votes after hitting .296/.423/.592 with 41 homers over 156 games.
