Houston Astros right-hander Zack Greinke isn't a fan of spring training, and he made sure to remind everyone of that Saturday when he arrived at camp on what was the last possible day to do so.

"I just found out we don't have to come these other days," Greinke said, according to MLB.com's Brian McTaggart. "If I would have known that 15 years ago, I wouldn't have been coming for a while now."

The 36-year-old veteran expanded on his thoughts about spring training in typical Greinke fashion.

"I don't enjoy it as much as the regular season," he joked, according to Jake Kaplan of The Athletic.

Greinke arrived just in time for the Astros to participate in their first spring game, a World Series rematch against the Washington Nationals.

Astros manager Dusty Baker opted not to use Greinke or any of his projected regular-season starters against the Nationals.
