Elvis Andrus doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
However, Andrus has not formally spoken with the Rangers about his decision, according to Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News.
Andrus has three years and $43 million remaining on his deal, according to Cot's Contracts. Additionally, there is a $15-million vesting option for 2023 if he amasses 550 plate appearances in 2020 or combines for 1,100 plate appearances in 2021-22.
The 31-year-old has spent his entire 11-year career with the Rangers and has generally been a steady presence in the lineup. He's played in at least 145 games in 10 seasons.
In 2019, he hit .275/.313/.393 with 12 home runs, 27 doubles, and 31 stolen bases in 147 games.
