Charlie Blackmon is all kinds of ridiculous at the plate right now.

The Colorado Rockies outfielder ripped four base hits in Saturday's matchup with the San Diego Padres. It's the third consecutive game in which he's managed four hits. The feat marks a new Rockies franchise record.

Only one player in history has managed four straight games with at least four hits - Milt Stock did it all the way back in 1925.

Blackmon is one of nine others to string together three games of four or more hits. The most recent was Rafael Furcal in 2007.

Over the three contests - all against the Padres - Blackmon has three home runs, one triple, two doubles, and six singles.
