Trainers tended to Senzel before Jose Peraza replaced him in the game. He may have dodged a bullet.

"He had a few stitches," Reds manager David Bell said, according to Mark Sheldon of MLB.com. "As soon as the swelling goes down, he's going to be fine."

Senzel, despite a swollen eye and three or four stitches on his eyelid, was similarly unconcerned.

"I'll try to throw some ice on it and get the swelling down," Senzel said. "I don't think it's that big of a deal. I just have to be able to fully see so I can hit."

It's the rookie's second injury scare this week after he collided with Peraza in the outfield during a game against the Cleveland Indians. Neither player left that contest.
