The San Francisco Giants aren't close to trading left-handed ace Madison Bumgarner despite a number of teams showing interest, a source told MLB Network's Jon Morosi.

The Giants have reportedly been listening to offers for Bumgarner and Morosi reports the Phillies, Brewers, Yankees, and Braves are potential suitors.

Philadelphia has been looking for a front-of-the-line starter after missing out on Patrick Corbin and reportedly spoke with the Giants about Bumgarner last week.

The 29-year-old Bumgarner will earn a modest $12 million next season, after which he is set to hit free agency. Those circumstances make him an interesting trade option for clubs not willing to spend big on free-agent left-handed starters like Dallas Keuchel or J.A. Happ.

Bumgarner has only made 38 starts in the past two seasons. He hasn't produced the same Cy Young caliber results from years prior but he's still been effective.

YEAR IP ERA WHIP FIP SO
2017 111 3.32 1.09 3.95 101
2018 129.2 3.26 1.24 3.99 109

His ERA has never been above 3.37 during a 10-year career that includes NLCS and World Series MVP recognition in 2014.

Overall, Bumgarner owns a 110-83 record with a 3.03 ERA and 1.11 WHIP in 255 career appearances, 252 of which have been starts.
