The Colorado Rockies have agreed to a three-year deal with right-handed reliever Bryan Shaw, sources confirmed to ESPN's Buster Olney.

It's expected to be worth $9 million in annual salary.

Shaw is one of many coveted relievers in search of a new deal after yet another productive season with the Cleveland Indians. For the Rockies, Shaw is a nice piece to an improved bullpen that, as a group, performed to a 3.94 FIP.

With Greg Holland testing free agency, the Rockies are still expected to be in the market for a closer as Shaw doesn't have much experience in that role. The 30-year-old has been one of baseball's most durable relievers, having pitched in over 70 games in each of the past five seasons. He finished 2017 with a 3.52 ERA, 2.96 FIP, and a career-high 73 strikeouts.

Shaw earned $4.6 million this past season.
