Baseball's top prospect is ready to show Chicago what he's made of.

Yoan Moncada will make his White Sox debut on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers, hitting sixth and playing second base.

The 22-year-old Cuban, who was acquired from the Boston Red Sox as part of the package for Chris Sale last December, was called up late Tuesday and picked up at the airport by fellow countryman Jose Abreu, who is expected to mentor the young White Sox phenom.

"I can feel the excitement ... I want to take advantage of it," Moncada told reporters, including Chuck Garfien of CSN Chicago, prior to Wednesday's game.

This isn't Moncada's first trip to the show, having appeared in eight games with the Red Sox last season, where he swatted .211/.250/.263.

Before his most recent call-up, Moncada was hitting .282/.377/.447 with 12 home runs, 36 RBIs, and 17 steals for Triple-A Charlotte.
