Eden Hazard was diagnosed with yet another muscle injury on Wednesday, sidelining the Real Madrid winger for the 10th time since he joined the club in 2019.

Hazard is expected to miss four-to-six weeks with the left quadriceps issue, according to Marca's Miguel Angel Lara.

The 30-year-old, who joined Madrid from Chelsea for a reported €100 million, has missed 38 games since moving to the Spanish capital. Hazard missed just 19 games in eight years with Chelsea.

If the prognosis is confirmed, Hazard could sit out anywhere from six to nine matches, including the first leg of the last-16 Champions League clash against Atalanta on Feb. 24, the derby against Atletico Madrid on March 6, and the second leg on March 16.

Hazard was ruled out for 30 days in November and December after suffering a muscle injury. Prior to that, he tested positive for COVID-19. A hairline fracture in his foot forced him to miss 17 matches across all competitions in the first half of the 2019-20 campaign.

The Belgian has made just 35 appearances over the last two seasons, scoring three times. He lasted 60 minutes before coming off in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Levante.
