Lionel Messi's latest injury is reportedly no concern at all.

Though he was ruled out of Argentina's friendly Tuesday against Morocco, sources told ESPN FC's Moises Lorens that Messi will be fit for Barcelona's next match against Espanyol after the international break.

Messi lasted the full 90 minutes of Argentina's 3-1 defeat to Venezuela on Friday - his first international appearance since the 2018 World Cup - before ending the contest with a groin injury.

BBC Sport reports the ailment is a recurrence of an "existing problem," but it's not thought to be serious. Messi struggled with his thigh in February but played on for Barcelona in La Liga and the Champions League.

The news is a blessing for the Blaugrana, who have nine crucial matches over the next month of action to look forward to.

Messi has scored 39 goals for the Catalan giants in all competitions, helping them reach the Champions League quarterfinals and the La Liga summit.
