Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas could be on the move before the summer transfer window closes.

Reportedly unhappy with the prospect of backing up first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for another season, Navas has informed the club of his desire to leave before the Sept. 2 deadline, sources told Dermot Corrigan of ESPN FC.

Navas apparently considered a departure earlier this summer but was unable to find an attractive suitor. However, this could change as Paris Saint-Germain are now said to be interested in procuring the 32-year-old's services, reports Corrigan.

It's believed he's been left upset after conversations with manager Zinedine Zidane this summer.

Despite reports, Zidane insists Navas wants to remain with the club he helped win three Champions League titles since his arrival from Levante in 2014.

"Keylor is a Real Madrid player, an important player," Zidane told reporters ahead of Saturday's match against Valladolid.

"We are not thinking about replacing him or about him leaving. Keylor is here with us, wants to be here with us. He can show that he is a very good player, and has been doing that in training. He has always been professional. The situation has not changed for me. We will have many games, and I will count on him."

Navas watched from the bench as Real Madrid won their opener 3-1 against Celta Vigo.
