Lewis Hamilton claimed pole position for the Russian Grand Prix after nearly missing Q3 following a messy session in Q2, which included a red flag after Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel crashed.

Hamilton will be joined on the front row by Red Bull's Max Verstappen.
